National Gallery of Modern Art:

It is the third art gallery in India the other two galleries are situated in Delhi and Mumbai. While you admire the art and innovation, you can rest at the cafeteria located in the Gallery. The Gallery remains closed on Monday and is open on other days from 10 am to 5 pm.

Tipu Sultan’s palace and fort:

The Tipu Sultan’s palace is located in the fort area of Bangalore. It was built by Chikkadeva Raya and is the only building built using mud only. The palace was reconstructed by Hyder Ali and the present structure features Indo-Islamic architecture type. Finally, the palace was finished in 1791 by Tipu Sultan. In the fort’s courtyard, you can visit the temple of the Hindu religion. The Palace remains open for visitors between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.

Krishna Rajendra Market:

Lal Bagh Botanical Garden:

The Lal Bagh garden was opened in the year 1760 by the Mughal ruler Hyder Ali.  Built by the Mughal ruler it has the style of Mughal architecture which is a sight to behold. Later, Hyder Ali’ son Tipu Sultan thought about extending this botanical garden and covered more area. Currently, it covers the land area of 240 acres. It consists of most special varieties of plants in the world. The most attractive point of this Botanical Garden is the majestic glass house. It was built in the year 1889.  The visitors are allowed to visit this garden all over the year. The timing of the visit is between 6.00 am and 7.00 pm. A special exhibition with 200 varieties of flowers is conducted here every Independence Day.

Cubbon Park:

Cubbon Park is one of the tourist’s places to visit in Bangalore that must be included in your list. It covers the land area of 300 acres in the district of Business in Bangalore. The place grabs the attention of various types of peoples such as joggers, nature lovers, and walkers. This park was named after the Ex-Commissioner Sir Mark Cubbon from the British rule. Vidana Soudha:

Vidana Soudha is considered to be the most famous landmark in Bangalore. It was constructed in the year 1954 and features neo-Dravidian architecture style. The special feature of this building is its domes which are located at the four corners of the marvel. It is a red colored two storey building which provides an excellent view. The Kacheri has two courts- high Court and Low Court which were used by the Sultan for various purposes. Bannerghatta National Park:

Founded in 1970 the Bannerghatta Park is a paradise for nature lovers. It was declared national park in 1974 and a biological reserve in 2002.
